Heavy-duty steel consists of a special wear-resistant steel with a hardness rating of 400 HBW, which is abrasion, friction, and impact resistant. Because of these exceptionally strong properties of this wear-resistant steel, steels forged from this steel are also known as wear-resistant steels because they are ideally suited for heavy-duty applications that require long service life, weight reduction, energy efficiency, high performance, and excellent weldability.
These high-strength steels are extremely strong and tough under stress, so the same results can be achieved when using significantly less thick than standard steel plates, and the use of high-strength steels reduces weight, increases capacity, improves management efficiency and extends product life.
